Velto European Awards

I. LEGAL STATUS AND PROGRAM IDENTITY


The Velto European Awards is an international professional awards program recognizing outstanding achievements, leadership, and innovation across professional fields.

The Awards aim to highlight individuals that demonstrate excellence, measurable impact, and meaningful contributions to their industries.

The Awards are organized as an independent recognition program administered by the Organizing Committee in accordance with this Regulation.

All official information regarding the Awards, including announcements, deadlines, and results, is published through official communication channels of the program.
The Awards program is international in scope and may include participants, nominees, and jury members from multiple countries.

The Awards are organized on a periodic basis. Each cycle includes nomination, evaluation, and announcement stages.

II. MISSION, PURPOSE AND PROFESSIONAL VALUES

The mission of the Velto European Awards is to recognize professional excellence, encourage innovation, and support the development of high professional standards.

The objectives of the Awards include:
  • recognizing outstanding professional achievements
  • highlighting leadership and innovation
  • promoting industry development
  • supporting professional integrity and excellence
The Awards operate in accordance with the following principles:
  • merit-based recognition
  • independence of evaluation
  • professional integrity
  • transparency of procedures
  • impartiality of the Jury

III. GOVERNANCE STRUCTURE

The governance structure of the Awards includes:
  • the Organizing Committee
  • the Secretariat
  • the Jury
The Organizing Committee is responsible for overall administration of the Awards, including:
  • strategic management of the program
  • approval of categories and procedures
  • appointment of Jury members
The Secretariat provides administrative and operational support, including:
  • coordination of nominations
  • communication with participants
  • preparation of evaluation materials

  • Over 14 years of experience in international business consulting and the administration of professional recognition programmes across Europe
  • Specialist in cross-industry leadership, strategic business development, and corporate communications
  • Resident of Nice, France; active contributor to the European entrepreneurial and professional community
  • Member of the European Business Leaders Association; expert evaluator for professional excellence and innovation recognition programmes

Composition of the Secretariat

Ilya Bragin

Head of Secretariat — Velto European Awards

  • Specialist in operational management of international awards and competition programmes
  • Over 7 years of experience in project management, coordination of nomination processes, and administrative support for professional recognition initiatives
  • Expert in digital communications, participant relations, and evaluation materials preparation
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Responsible for day-to-day Secretariat operations, including application intake, nominee communications, and documentation support for the Jury

IV. JURY SYSTEM AND SELECTION OF JUDGES

The Jury is responsible for the professional evaluation of nominations and determination of finalists and winners.

Jury members are selected based on their professional experience, reputation, and expertise in relevant fields.

Jury members are expected to demonstrate:
  • recognized professional expertise
  • leadership experience
  • significant contributions to their field
Jury members act independently and must not accept instructions or influence from external parties.

All jury deliberations, discussions, and voting results are confidential.

V. CONFLICT OF INTEREST POLICY

A conflict of interest arises when a Jury member has a direct or indirect relationship with a nominee that may affect impartial judgment.

Examples include:
  • employment within the same organization
  • financial interests
  • partnership relationships
  • family or close personal relationships
Jury members must disclose any potential conflicts of interest before participating in evaluation.

A Jury member must abstain from evaluating any nomination where a conflict of interest exists.

VI. NOMINATION FRAMEWORK

The Awards include professional categories established by the Organizing Committee. Categories may vary between award cycles.

The Awards may recognize:
  • individual professionals
  • organizations
  • projects or initiatives
Nominees must demonstrate documented professional achievements within their field.

VII. APPLICATION AND SUBMISSION PROCESS

Nominations must be submitted in accordance with the procedures and deadlines established by the Organizer.

Nomination materials may include:
  • description of achievements
  • supporting documentation
  • professional references
  • evidence of measurable results

VIII. VERIFICATION OF INFORMATION

The Organizer reserves the right to verify all submitted information.

Verification may include review of documentation, confirmation with professional organizations, and examination of public records.

The Organizer may request additional supporting materials from nominees.
If submitted information is found to be false or misleading, the nomination may be disqualified.

IX. MULTI-STAGE SELECTION PROCEDURE

The selection process includes the following stages:
  1. Administrative screening
  2. Professional eligibility review
  3. Formation of shortlist
  4. Jury evaluation
  5. Final decision of the Jury
The Secretariat reviews all nominations to ensure compliance with submission requirements. Eligible nominations are then reviewed to confirm that nominees meet professional eligibility criteria.

Early Bird submissions receive priority processing. Submissions received after the Final Deadline will not be considered for the current cycle.

X. EVALUATION METHODOLOGY

All nominations are evaluated on the basis of professional merit and documented achievements. The Jury evaluates nominations using a standardized scoring system.

The maximum possible score for each nomination is 50 points.

XI.SHORTLIST AND FINALISTS

Nominations receiving the highest evaluation scores form the shortlist. Each category typically includes three to five finalists.

The Jury may decide not to grant an award if nominations do not meet the required professional standards.

XII.  FINAL DECISION

Final decisions are made through voting by the Jury. The nomination receiving the highest final score in each category may be declared the winner.

XIII.  AWARD RECOGNITION

Shortlisted nominees are recognized as finalists of the Velto European Awards. Winners receive official recognition from the Awards and are announced through official communication channels.

XIV.  ETHICS AND PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT

All participants must adhere to principles of honesty, professional conduct, and integrity.

The Organizer reserves the right to take appropriate action to protect the integrity of the Awards.

XV.  FINAL PROVISIONS

The Organizer reserves the right to amend this Regulation when necessary.

Submission of a nomination constitutes acceptance of this Regulation.

This Regulation enters into force upon publication by the Organizer.
